Leaf Walk

My baby and I decided to take in some of the beautiful fall scenery today. First, we loaded up the pup, hopped in the car and headed for the reservoir. I love that we live so close that a swim or a hike are just minutes away! Unfortunately, the park and pavilion areas of the reservoir were under construction. Being that's it's bow season here in Indiana we were definitely planning to stick to the park areas and not venture too far off the beaten path just in case someone mistook us for deer. Sooo, we came home and decided to hit up the walking/bike trail near our house. My baby was a tad disappointed but I was determined to try my hand at photographing the gorgeous colors of the leaves right now.

Love that you can see the changing colors of the
season in just one little leaf! Never-mind my ratty slippers the pup is in a chewing stage...

Little Cutey was nice enough to pose with some leaves too! But then he had to demonstrate his own pose, did I mention he had just finished watching GI Joe. He's a real American hero here!

I really wanted to get some shots of the leaves tumbling from the sky but I am just not that talented yet. Maybe by next year?

Luckily my baby was willing to help a mama out and throw some leaves in the air. You can see how thrilled he was. I may have made him do this several times along our stroll.

Here we go!!

So I'm taking the plunge and I'm starting a blog. I enjoy reading blogs. I can spend hours reading about the lives of others from the homeyness of the Pioneer Woman, the laugh out loud musings of the Bloggess, the amazing travels of Joy Prouty, and so many more in between. I read blogs to escape, to laugh, to cry, to be inspired to be a better person. I'm giving myself easy goals with my blog.  Enjoy writing, have fun learning to take better photos, maybe step outside my comfort zone, hopefully inspire myself, remember my creative side, and stick with it. I can do this! And I'm pretty excited to start.

Happy gaddings,
Ronna
